Day 2 was a lot better than day1 at work. I got to do a lot more and that made the time go by faster....till about 1am and people stopped calling and stopped getting sick/hurt. Then I sat there and basically just stared at the wall till 3. Was that part fun? Not so much. Just sayin

1st day of work was boring for the most part....was only allowed to answer phones. The last 2 hours were better coz the guy training me let me do some closeouts and a few admits. So at least now I know that once I get the hang of things, the only thing I'll have to worry about is forgetting to do something. LOL

We went yesterday (Friday) and got our marriage license and wedding rings! Time sure is flying!

So...I choked on my diet Pepsi earlier....it was so bad it was coming out my nose and everything....and Allen replies...."Babe, your not supposed to snort Pepsi... your supposed to snort Coke" I laughed so hard I.....snorted. LOL

We're getting married! And the oldest childs disdain....

Yes, yes, that's right, we're gonna do it! November 14th I will be adopting a new name! Its just going to be a small ceremony, with my friend Ashley, Allen's friend Daniel, Allen's mom and Ashley's fiance attending. We don't have the time nor the money to have the big wedding I always wanted with half the country invited, so we're gonna do THAT next year.
There will however, be a party afterwords. We weren't going to do that either, but way to many people have asked. Annnnnnnnnnnd, I realized this is my chance to get Allen's mom toasted! She's always wound up so tight, I would love to see her all loose and giggly....and she promised to take a shot of Tequilla with me. I am SO gonna hold her to that. LOL.

Shawn and Johnny seem to be pretty cool with it.....James on the other hand is...NOT. Every since he found out, he's been a total ass to everyone around him, and he made sure to inform me that he wants to be as far away from me as possible that day. He's been bad enough that Jimmy (the ex) made him go stay with his Grandpa for a while.

I brought up counseling again with Jimmy and that didn't go over to well. The man is still in denial. I said "Jimmy, he needs counseling, he has some major anger issues." His response?
"He doesn't need counseling, he needs his mother to have some consideration and stop 'tormenting' him about her life"

W.....T.....F?

So, since Jimmy refuses to even talk about it, I'm now awaiting a call from his school counselor. I'm gonna ask him to counsel him as much as possible at the very least. AT the most....have HIM tell Jimmy that the kid needs to be seen by a professional. Keep your fingers crossed that the guy agrees with me.

New Job!

Yep!

I applied for a job at the hospital about 3 weeks ago. They called me yesterday and told me to come in today and start filling out paper work! And even better? I never even got an interview! LOL! So now I owe a huge thank you to our friend Wendy. She's the one who told me they needed someone and recommended me.I know she only did it so she wouldn't have to pull anymore night shifts, but hey, I'll take it any way I can get it. I'll have to buy her a 12 pack for this one. LOL

What will I be doing?

Admitting new patients into the E.R. Woot! Office job (kinda) baby! I'm thrilled with the prospect of a job where I'm not killing my feet and lower back. I'm a little nervous though, since I've never done this kind of work before. BUT... I'm a smart woman and I catch on fast, so nervousness aside, I'm not too worried about it.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the hours. I'll be working 7pm-7am. Same hours that Allen works and that's cool, I'm just worried about being able to stay awake! As it is, I'm about 3.5 hours shy of being able to stay up that long.

Anyways, gotta go. Got clothes to wash and I really need to eat something.
